SomaPort for SOMA Networks

The SomaPort is an always-on intelligent network appliance that provides wireless broadband access to the user.  The unit can be used as a home gateway to facilitate routing, firewall, voice and data multiplexing as well as other functions.  

The design goal was to create a visually dynamic product to help establish SOMA as a player in this emerging marketplace. 

The design features a central tower which houses a cooling fan in the base and the puck shaped antenna in the top.
